At BMW, we have a plan to reach zero emissions. It's called BMW EfficientDynamics. We will continue to reduce emissions and maximize fuel economy through the use of lightweight materials, aerodynamics, and our efficient internal combustion engines. Since 2008, this has included introducing our clean, Advanced Diesel engines to Canada. We then launched ActiveHybrid vehicles in 2009, working towards a cleaner future. To reach our ultimate goal of zero emissions, we will remain focused on liquid hydrogen as the long-term sustainable source of automotive energy. Because at BMW, it's our goal to do for the environment what we did for performance.

For those who are out on the road a lot, we have created the perfect passenger in BMW ConnectedDrive.

With a comprehensive online, assistance and service system, BMW ConnectedDrive provides your BMW with an intelligent link to the outside world - while away from home, simply and easily read your emails or the latest share prices, or book into a hotel for your next business trip using the telephone information service. BMW ConnectedDrive can even find you the nearest vacant parking space straight away. And in case of an accident, you can also rely on the comprehensive emergency call function: voice communication is established automatically to the BMW call centre, and your location und vehicle data transferred immediately. This ensures you receive help fast.
